Our Story

Most of Solace was built after long shifts, when everyone else was asleep.

I work two jobs. I get off when the sun's coming up. For a long time I thought peace was something you got once life calmed down: once the money was right, once the stress stopped, once everything around you finally made sense.

Life doesn't calm down on schedule.

Things stay uncertain, and some of it hurts. If you wait for everything to be perfect before you feel okay, you wait forever.

So I stopped waiting.

I started building things that gave me peace inside the chaos instead of after it. A routine I could count on. Training, even when I was tired. Reading and learning something every day. Working toward financial freedom, one paycheck at a time. And I got comfortable being alone with my own thoughts, which a lot of people run from.

None of that made life easy. It made it steady. That's what solace actually means: not the absence of the hard stuff, but something that holds you up while you're in it.

When I looked at streetwear, I saw two kinds of messages. One sells the idea that life is perfect: good vibes, flexing, a lifestyle nobody actually lives. The other sells nothing at all, just a logo and a price tag. Neither one looked like my life, or the life of anyone I know.

That's Solace. Clothes for people who still showed up. Who still built something today.

The .fly is the other half. When you've built your own peace, you're not stuck under the weight anymore. You rise with it. You move different, not because everything's fine, but because you've got something inside you that doesn't shake.

Where we are

I'll be real. Solace is small. Our first drop didn't sell out. It barely sold at all. I could've faked it and acted like we blew up. I didn't, because a brand built on honesty can't start with a lie. So I went back to work: learning, fixing what didn't land, and building the next drop better.

That's the same thing Solace asks of you. Not to have it all figured out. Just to keep building.
